The Royal Gorge Route Railroad is the perfect place for a corporate event, family reunion, wedding reception and other special group events. Special rates apply to groups . Advanced reservations and a contract are required per Group Policy.

NEW! Vista Dome cars departing on every departure!

The Royal Gorge Route offers special discounted rates for groups of 10 people or more. The train is an excellent choice for company/business events & meetings, family reunions, wedding receptions and other special events. The entire train is available to charter or you can reserve a private car for your occasion in all classes of service. Vista Dome offers the option of ordering delicious food from our menu with a full service cash bar.

Coach Class  
Relax in our comfortable, climate controlled passenger cars. Note: Groups may choose to book this option with gourmet boxed lunches for an additional charge. Trip duration: 2 hours

Vista Dome Class
Experience the panoramic views of the Royal Gorge from a classic 1950's glass topped dome car. Delicious food and full service cash bar available.

New! for 2008 - Wine Express  
Enjoy a flight of four wines paired with delicious appetizers prepared by our executive chef to compliment. Wine Express is available beginning May 2nd on all 12:30 PM and 3:30 PM departures.

Lunch Trains
A scrumptious gourmet lunch inclusive of salad and dessert served in one of our restored luxurious climate controlled dining cars.  Entrée choices include such seasonal items as: Bourbon Glazed Rotisserie Chicken with mashed garlic red potatoes, green beans with whiskey-butter sauce, Pesto Salmon over mashed sweet potatoes, tomato relish, green beans, basil oil and fig balsamic glaze, Roasted Pork Loin baked to perfection and served with orange marmalade sauce serve with garlic mashed red potatoes and green beans, and Grilled Vegetable Napoleon - A selection of fresh seasonal vegetables lightly grilled and enclosed in puff pastry. If your group has a special request, our executive chef can prepare an exclusive menu specific to your tastes as well.

Your group may also upgrade to the Vista Dome for an additional $30 per person.  Trip duration: 2 hours

Dinner Trains

Delight in an epicurean 4-course dinner inclusive of appetizers, salad, and dessert served in one of our restored luxurious dining cars. Entrée choices include Roast Prime Rib of Angus Beef and Fresh Salmon.  Upgrade to the Vista Dome for an additional $30 per person.

Wine Dinner Trains

New for 2008 will be the addition of Wine trains. Each month from June through October, we'll be featuring wines from around the world, paired with delicious entrees prepared by our executive Chef. Our chef will provide our guests with personalized attention and background of the pairings. Dinner will consist of five courses paired with different varietals.

Murder Mystery Trains
Available on select evenings throughout the year, you’ll be treated to a classic “who dunnit”while indulging in a delicious 4-course dinner.

Education Rate
Applies to qualified groups through high school at 50% discount in Coach Class only.
